SWIFT, BRSTN and CHIPS in Philippine Banks
There are THREE common bank identifying codes used internationally, and these are:
BRSTN: Bank Routing Symbol Transit Numbers for Major Banks in the Philippines
This 9 digit code identifies the country, city, and name of your bank, and is the commonly used bank identifier code used among banks in the Philippines to transfer funds.
SWIFT: Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. Business Identifier Codes (BICs) are often called SWIFT addresses or codes.
The SWIFT code is 8 or 11 characters, made up of:
4 letters: Institution Code or bank code.
2 letters: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code eg: PH = Philippines
2 letters or digits: location code eg: the MM at the end of many codes = Metro Manila
The last 3 characters represent the local branch code.
CHIPS: Clearing House Interbank Payments System http://www.chips.org
Although these are listed below, it is always advised to contact your bank to check the code before using it to transfer funds.
A wrong, or outdated, code could cause problems with your financial transactions. Trust ONLY your bank.
Some banks use a routing number of another bank that they route transfers through. For example BRSTN: 021000021 is actually JP Morgan Chase in New York, but used for at least BPI Family Bank and PSBank.

What is the bank code for gcash? Thanks
I have read that the SWIFT/BIC code is GLTEPHMT or GLTEPHMTXXX.
I have also seen this: Bank Code Globe Xchange, Inc. (GCash) 018040010
It would be worth a phone call to Globe, or other contact at the GCash Help Center to check this.
(2882 (GCash Hotline number))
Bank Code is GLTE (assigned to GLOBE TELECOM, INC.)
Country Code for the Philippines is PH.
Location Code is MT which represents the institution location.
Code Status of T – T actually means active code.
Branch Code is not assigned or XXX which indicates that this is the main branch.
what is brstn code for psbank
Updated: BRSTN: 010269996
PSBank is a subsidiary of Metrobank and has the same BRSTN.
Hi, just letting you know that the SWIFT code for BPI Family looks like it needs to be updated- I used the one from here and it was invalid.
I need the gcash bank code
From a search, it appears to be GLTEPHMT
SWIFT Code GLTEPHMT or GLTEPHMTXXX
Bank Code GLTE – code assigned to GLOBE TELECOM, INC.
Country Code PH – code belongs to Philippines
Location Code MT – code represents the institution location
Code Status T – T means active code
Branch Code not assigned or XXX – code indicates this is a head office
Unfortunately the GCash website does not confirm this.
I want to get the routing number for the dollar savings accounts with the PNB-San Pablo City branch. I called their telephone number, but unluckily nobody answer sent an e-mail request to the customer service of PNB-Main Office and hasn’t received a reply. When I went to my bank here in Illinois, they told me they need the routing number. Going to the PNB remittance center is not an option for a senior citizen like me who lives alone and has not driven for years. I am planning to wire transfer to my sister’s account. Thanks for your help.
I find it odd that your bank, in Illinois, can’t get that number. I would have assumed that any bank would have access to all bank codes.
Have you tried ringing the other numbers.

I need bank code of gcash where can i find it?
Gcash is a remittance agent, according to their website. I am not sure that they have a bank code.
Yeah, and even if you reach out to their customer support, they can’t help you. They would just tell you that they don’t have it.
